failed on excessive blue smoke,reacon its the stem oil seals
is it a big job changng them and is there anything else should change while the heads of?

Stem seals usually only smoke if the engine has been left standing for a while, the engine then smokes for a little bit, then stops once the excess oil has been burnt off.

as usuall it only started when i got to the test centre.
does it when going downhill sumtimes and when the cars tickng over aswell.
any ideas people

mine has blue smoke sometimes on start up and it also gives off a bit of smoke as well when driven hard
