My dad has just bought a pajero and it has a big fuck off satnav thing in it, any chance of it being any use in this country?

if you can change the software in it to have uk maps, or it may even have uk maps in it..... just hope its in english

Most modern built in sat navs are linked to the CD player, you can acquire the software for countries and languages and load it up.

had a quick look and its a pioneer carrozzeria tv screen and sat nav with the tv ariels hooked to the back of the vehicle, only had a little read and it seems like it is useless for this country, seems a shame as its a nice little unit. Does that sound right then, totally useless?!

GPS is the same system everywhere, you just need UK maps and hope that it'll speak English.
