Trying not to cut your fingers, just pull read hard with your fingers in the tape deck bit. It takes a bit of force as its plugged in to the cage at the rear.

drop out ur ash tray unit, u need a really short cross head screwdriver. Then you've got good access to the head unit and the back of it. Have a look round, give it a push from the back.

NO NO NO NO NO NO! When youve taken out the four little grub screws, you need s a pair of radio keys, halfords do them for £3.99 or any other ice shop. Push them in until they sort of click, about 3" should be pushed in. Then slightly bend them outwards and pull, the radio should come straight out.
Then at the back of the cage youll see a bolt, using an 8mm socket on an extension bar and unscrew it.
Pinch the top and bottom of the cage together in the middle and slide it out.
You also need to disconnect the plugs from the back of the cage.
This takes me about 30 seconds to take one od these out once the grub screws are removed. Its really easy

Corb is spot on. I didn't have radio key at the time so I used 4 long thin nail type things just to release the catches at the sides then it slides out!

Can be done with small screwdrivers but its a bit of an art. Best bet is to buy the tool for the job
