Right I have a uprated chip to put in me car want to do it asap this afternoon so could any of you guys give me some help as to what I need to do exactly, Firstly find the ecu yes located in the drivers footwell and there should be a cover take this off and then do I need to do anything in perticular ? do I need to disconnect the battery thanks for any help given many thanks, Paul......

u need to take out the ecu and take the screws out - take chip out and replace with new one - job done, dead easy m8

right just got some information the ecu is the silver metal coated box right ? do I take this apart unscrewing the screws and thats it piece of piss ? do I need to disconnect the battery or not ?

if u have a cat1 alarm dont forget to put it in Valet mode b4 disconnecting the battery

I just have the standard alarm and immobiliser so do I need to do anything with it?

No I havent I will just have a look at it first and then if it is I will get it sorted proffesionally I thought it just plugged in ?
