Thats what most people do, i did it on mine, just ran a postive wire from battery to underneath of front of the car which if needed you can charge the battery through or on a jumper lead/pack!

Its worth paying for a good solenoid! Mine were fairly good ones but if your doors are slightly heavy like mine were then they pop but you have to get your fingers in to pull open!

Well its a 5 door corsa soo the doors are pretty light, im sure they'll fall off if u close em to hard tho

If its a 5 door how about no door popper and if anyone has to use em then just open form inside? Or would that be an MOT fail on safety?

safety reasons

but then u have to reach for the inside door handle when someone whats to get into the back kinda spoils the fun of having no outer door handles on the rear doors

In a word, yes. Unless you fancy a nice new windscreen for £80ish excess.
You woudn't try to go through the windscreen. It's laminated and it wont shatter. You would go through the side windows.

Also, if you have no door handles then you would have an auxilary power supply or somewhere to plug some form of auxilary power into the vehicle in case the battery dies.

Or, you could just use a coat hanger and pop the lock, then press down on the door latch through the outer window seal, which is easier than smashing a window on a Corsa.

If you get a little plunger fitted into the shut then when you release the latch the door pops off of the catch on its own
