sorry for reposting this thread once again but i m asking out you guys to help me out with lowering my car. i m looking for a 40mm drop all over. i m actually more concerned for a good ride as much as possible as good as the OE ride, not really concerned about the handling, what should i buy with a 250 pounds budget?

i'm on eibach 35mm springs and bilstein shocks (pretty much oe spec shocks).very good ride,very good handling. £140 for the shocks and £130 for the springs i think from lmf vauxhall.

im using AVO 35mm spring with KYB shocks work fine for me, fabulous handling improvement and not to harsh on the ride

Ive got a 40mm drop on koni springs n shocks n its bumpier than a mutha fucker haha.

Cheap and Cheerful, haven't had any other set ups or witnessed any others so i can't really comment....

I've had mine for 3 years and not had a problem with it

Might be ok, just make sure you protect the threads if your buying cheap coilovers.

Seen that happen with Jamex Coilovers and its near impossible to adjust when they're corroded....

package them up in a big bin rather than fit them to the car, that will protect them.

hes saying cheap coil overs are crap, if you want to protect the threads just coat them with coper slip/grease this will stop them corroding

what would you recommend me for a good ride i m more concerned for that rather then how it handles i got a budget of 250, looking for a drop of 40mm

i would go most probably gmax dampers and ether spax or koni springs
