I aint getting into the 106 vs 2.0 corsa arguement, been done to death, and re-incarnated, and killed again many times before.  Rather tedious now.

I watched Rob's mate do that 14.9 at Santa Pod this year. Pretty sure that was standard XE with the interior and camping stuff? Rob correct me if i'm wrong

oh and also...
On 106 gti's... a exhaust + filter makes a big diff...
mine did a 16.1 standard, and a 15.3 with exhaust + filter...
My car was never stripped down the pod, which easily adds a few tenths..
Anyway, I wasn't having a debate of 106 gti vs Corsa XE
I couldn't give a shit, so many XE's differ in speed, in same way so many Gti's differ in speed.
