ex fleet cars are usually very good as they get properly serviced and looked after, especially if it was owned by a big company.

If you get one make sure it's a facelift.
I'd also consider the Signum.

Looking at the signum, kinda like that now
As for the facelift vectra, if we're talking about the shape where they changed the front lights from a square shape to the astra headlights - don't really like it - prefer the squared shape lights.
Will have a nosey around at my local vauxhall dealer tomorrow, see whats going
Cheers all

In that case, you could get a pretty decently specced private owner one. Look at the V6 CDTi if you can afford insurance etc, as opposed to the 1.9 CDTi's etc.

They are quite heavy on tyres, rear shockers don't last very long, front springs seem quite prone to breaking too.
Generally they seem ok though, i'd go for the 150 aswell.

Looking at it now, the signum seems a bit too big for my liking - so, probably give that amiss
Will definately be eyeing up the V6 CDTi though - Cheers Dean
Joe - cheers for that bit of advice

I have a 53 plate Vectra, 2.0 DTi, would suggest the CDTi over the DTI as its not too quick with its 100ponies and sounds like a transit van, but i woiuld reccoment the vectra, as they are so comfey to drive. c/c and a/c are nice too.
Was going to get a Signum when i got the Vec but someone had just put a deposit down on it Had a fridge in the back too

Have you seen a Vectra Estate compared to a Signum? Looks much smaller.
