I have a metalic grey paint job similar to smoke grey.. just wonderin best methods to use gettin scratches out ? t - cut ?

that wont get scratches out very well, you will need to use g10 rubbing compound on metallic cars.

body shops use g10 after the car has been sprayed to remove the overdspray and smooth the paint.
only apply a small amount on the scratch and use as you would tcut, then metallic tcut on top, then polish.

oh, make sure its g 10 or above, dont use g7 for example, thats wat i use on my car as its a solid colour and g7 will screw laquer.

Meguiars Scratch-X is quite good. Not industrial strength, but cleaned my black paint up nicely.
