lastminute.com

I swear by them, have bought many flights round the world and have not been able to beat them on price unless you search for 8 hrs and maybe save £20.

it'll be pricey for you though coz of th etime of year - book now to save lots of money. Earlier you book, more you'll save. I reckon cheapest you'll get is maybe £570 return Perth - or £640 Sydney.

make your dates flexible by 7 days, and if you take more flight connections your price will come down, even if it is a bit of a pain.

Coming back you wont coz you'll lose about 8 or 9 hours in time difference.

1 connection is average. I payed £720 return from LHR to Brisbane - but it was a premium fare.

Cathay Pacific connects at Hong Kong
Singapore Air - Singapore
Thai Airways - Bangkok
Emirates - Dubai

You could even have a lay over and see one of the cities en-route.
