whats this? whats differnce between the i and p variety of tv's? only ask as a friend is selling an lg one that is 1080i for 350 only a couple months old

interlaced or progessive, 1080i is crap, but if it does 720p thats good

p is better

People say that 720p is about as good as 1080i

how would i find info on it? all i know is its a 32" lg tv that does 1080i and is a few months old. 5 months old tops. i think it was around 900 quid. just search on google or something?

Depends what your watching and what tv.

720p is definitely better if your tv is 720p.
