Squats with weights could do legs, but why not use the machines that specifically work the legs?

Also use the treadmill and rowing machines.

Find a helpful employee when you're at the gym. The guy that done my induction was crap, showed me the rowing machine and how to get on the bike

I asked another guy randomly and he took me through a lot of the resistance equipment, felt much more confident in using stuff after that. I've also found that the guys you can tell are gym buffs are usually very helpful.

£15 for advice you mean?!

Will look into it, might try total fitness. Thinking might be worthwhile to go while it;s cold and dark. Found myself doing sod all most evenings so it makes sense.

I opted out of the induction at Courtneys but it was free for them to go through everything with you and give you a programme to follow.

Our gym has a usb stick that has a pre programmed generic plan for everyone which you can then alter at a station. Quite good, the machines are all linked and it tells you what machine/weight level to do once you'ce finished. It also has tutorial videos on it etc...

I haven't noticed i go to the gym to workout strangely enough not to sit and judge other people for what way they've brushed their hair.
