hey all got a 1.4 sport
just whent out on a wee break at work and first turn of the key and there was a realy stong and nasty burning smell, i got out had a look at the engine (still cold) and exhaust wasnt smoking anymore than usual for a cold start.
turnd it off and then bk on then after about 5mins it came bk slightly but whent again.
any ideas?
it wasnt a plastict burning smell either.
any thnx apreciated

ok whent bk out to teh car on my lunch break and found out teh smell only apiers when the slide bit under teh temperatire dials is at the left hand side, picture od=f teh car with teh arow coming into the car from front, is this anything to worry about? and wat could the damage be?
