TBH it has nothing to do with the CL performances as to why they are arguing, so doubt it'll make any difference with if he got us through or not.

I mean I'd take 1 failure every 4 years if it means 2 finals and 1 win in the other 3.

Yes, I don;t think it's about CL qualification tbh, it doesn't appear to have any relationship to the issue.

Yeah sami is experienced and probably could have a role in passing experience on next season and he is decent cover but we need a new cnetre back in or a defender who can play in a few defensive roles comfortabley (jan transfer window ). Once Agger is back we just need cover. Hyppia has lost his pace completely and is a bit of a liability at times now

I reckon he may stay on and join the coaching team?

Yeah, really depends if he thinks he has anymore years playing or not. If not I think he could stay on as part of the coaching team, and possibly still on the books as cover but not really playing much.

he is good for the odd game and odd bit of cover. But he has had to play for the last 2-3months now, and thats what has fucked him.

I take your point but the issue is not about results so far it's about breakdown in communications and lack of understanding imo.
