Can anyone recommend me a new printer please. I dont care what brand it is,but it must print A4 pages sometimes colour and the occasional photograph. Inkjet probably the best. Dont care about speed or noise, Im a student so it needs to be cheap. Any printer that i can buy cheap cartriges for off Rambox etc will do (I refuse to pay upwrads of £15 for a single ink cartridge)
Thanks!!

personally i would consider a colour laser now for what you pay for them.
The toners go on and on.

And the fact when the toner goes out it will cost you hundreds.
I'd have a look for the cheapest inkjet you can find, they do the multifuntion ones for 20 quid now.
When the ink runs out buy a new one.

you make a good point john, thats exactly what i was thinking of doing. I can get a Epson D92 (i like epson, me and my dad both use them) off ebay delivered for £25 brand new and a set of carts £10 a time, i dont do that much printing, pretty much twice a year when it comes round to essay time and the odd photo

I've got a HP 1410 inkjet

And also a HP 2605 DTN colour laser.

and for colour photographs they're virtually indistinguishable.
Laser was £350. Inkjet was about £80 years ago, was in PC World the other day and they've got the model up for £29.99, and its also a scanner.
Takes HP 21 black cart and 22 colour which you'll find both online for under a tenner.
