I need to put up a shed at our new house....am I right to think the best base to use is concrete paving slabs. Can I put these straight onto turf (as long as its level)or should I remove the turf and place the slabs on a sand base or something?

Cut out the turf to about 1 and a half to 2 inches deeper than the flags. I used a dry cement mix. You can then move it about and pack it easier. It'll then absorb the moisture and set.
