I'm sitting at work, got my headphones in as i do everyday, listening to my music at the same volume its always been. Woman opposite me starts waving at my like some mad woman trying to bring a plane down, i remove my headphones and the conversation/actions goes along the lines of
Her: "Can you turn your music down please"
Me: "Ummm (looking confused as its the same it is everyday for the past year) sure"
*I turn it down a few notches on the mac*
Her: "Thanks"
Me: "No problem"
Her: *puts her headphones on and carries on listening to her music*
I just sat there looking at her really confused, she asks me to turn it down but then puts her headphones back in and carries on listening to her own music? As soon as i saw that i put the volume back up and she hasn't noticed anything different.
Some people really confuse me, i'm guessing she needed to vent some frustration out and i was closest to her, i gave her the 10 seconds of power she wanted.
I was so tempted to ask her to turn hers down 5minutes after she asked me, i couldnt keep a straight face though if i tried so i've left it

she has nothing to do with me though, thats the annoying thing. I'm a deisgner and shes just some data input woman, i dont sit with the other 2 designers because if i sit away from them i get to go on CS and other sites all day long
