Just been reading on TopBuzz about the lambda sensor and it says "without it, performance and idle will be poor"
this is where i was reading:

mine is crap and when i looked under my bonnet - my lambda aint plugged in to anything - does anyone know where i can find the wire that it should be connected too?!

Should be a plug near the dipstick tube.

v-reg - 1.4 16v sport - sorry should have said
just had a look and think i found it - the only thing is it done fit
on the sensor there is a single purple wire coming off with a black plastic clip thing wit ONE pin inside, the other connection clip thing i found has TWO conection bits
really stumped now!!
