Been having troubles with keeping the cv-joint in the gearbox. Managed to get it in further today. From the below picture you cant actually see the gap because its that close but I'd say its about 2-4mm between the oil seal and the big part of the cv-joint.

Looks in ok to me, put a flat blade screwdriver on one of the shoulders of the cv and hit it in with a hammer, the sound changes when its all the way home. but yeah that looks good
