Because they are low volume, bespoke creations. Therefore cost is higher. Cost is a result of their status, not the other way around.

Ferrari 430 = £150,000

Big price difference and they both have supercar qualities. Thats the point I was making.

Think Clarkson nails it on the head in his latest DVD that some tuned up sallon cannot really be a supercar. He even explains why
