Tried to put my new tweeters in this morning, thought it was a simple job (remove -> swap over -> done)
But no.....
I need much more time than I thought I would need as it looks like I am going to need some smaller male spade connectors to fit into the standard wire!
Me and the old man are gonna fit them properly I think (screw them in) and keep the wiring tidy!
I hope the rear ones aren't going to be so bad!
Anyone have any hints or tips?
Cheers

Screwing in an electrical connection on a tiny thing like a spade connector aint doing it properly IMO.
Solder it, wipe off any flux (it is actually corrosive) then shrink wrap to protect against vibration! Make sure you put the shrink wrap on over the wire before you solder it, otherwise you cannot get it on unless the opposite end is loose.

I think he means screwing the tweeter to the doorcard, in place of the original?

i took the old ones out, cut the strips across the cover, enlarged the hole with a file, and pressed the new tweeter into that, so now the tweeter is visible with all trim back together. i'll get some pics if this doesn't make sense!
