well HIC only gave me quotes if i had mods! and it worked out cheaper with mods :-) but then again all there companys they deal with are for modded motors, elephant are just gay and use normal insurance companies i expect!

Why dont you try flux and HIC?

I'm still with Brentacre on a modified car policy, so refreshing to talk to someone who actually knows about cars.

I've heard that before, but they usually insure through highways the same I thought. I'd phone brentacre and ask them to match price of flux maybe if its dearer.

Saying that i've never claimed with brentacre, i'm just assuming they would be decent as their customer service as always been second to none.

Why do people still use online quotes, phone them up for fucks sake! It should drop at least £200 in quotation

My insurance from an online quote is 360 quid, it would not be 160 if I phoned.

You can't do online quotes with brentacre, anyway its quite clear that jambo knows to phone about too.

Just commenting on how adding an exhaust seems to add another insurance group to your car

Many companies will insure your car with the mods, but when it comes to making a claim they will only repair it to their standard spec - Elephant are one of these companies. I even had trouble getting a company to insure the manufacturer optional extras on my VXR!
I now always go through Keith Michaels as they always get my mods covered with like for like replacements. They always get the best quotes for me.
Try them on 0845 3373380 and ask for Gary Moulson.... he's a mate and always try to get good quotes.
