Not really I'm on one now, work only paid about £350-£400 and it came with a 19" monitor. 300GB HD, Dual Core etc.. It is the 200 model. I have no idea how far up/down the range that is. Don't care as it's a work machine.

yeah i know latitudes are we deal with for businesses, they will usuallyhave gone through more testing and should be more robust

Dell replace keyboards for missing keys, I think its a bit of a farce, I've never managed to get a key off any laptop I use.
The precision you posted was an older model steve, I would guess at at least 4 or 5 years old now, they look a lot better throughout the range now.
Vostros are just inspirons with a different name btw.
