Buying my mates 1.2 corsa in a few months time ideal for xe conversion.so im going to start collecting bits just now for when time comes that i get the car.

Any chance anyone can put a list up of all parts needed to complete conversion mounts,driveshafts etc

Engine, gearbox
Cavalier MK2 1600 Inner CV Joints
corsa gsi 22 spline shafts
SFI Adapter Plate
Ecotec Pipe
Above not needed if purchasing a powercap
Engine mount (plus rubber – if 16v model)
Anti Roll Bar Tie Bar Mounts
MPI Fuel Pump (if car is a SPI)
16v header tank. (if car is a not a C16XE X16XE or X14XE engine.)
ECU and all the wiring loom and sensors that go with it
Accelerator cable.
Air Flow Meter
Ignition coil and bracket
Manifold and down pipe including the oxygen sensor .
Corsa linkage from old gearbox or an M-tec short shift


Decent uprated suspension
2.0 front brakes

will i run sfi adaptor plate and ecotec pipe if i want to use standard airbox?

You can use either but for a power cap you need to cut the bul head to make it fit

With the eco pipe it will fit with no cutting iirc

And the eco pipe is cheaper
