yes you can as long as the camera had signs before it.
A speed camera doesn't need lines to calculate your speed.

It also shouldn't flash in the drivers face.
Other than that, don't speed = no worries.

What kind of camera was it?
Shouldn't be facing you if it was a gatso.

If said camera is only pointing down one lane on a two way road (as is the case on the Gloucester Road in Cirencester) you can belt up towards it, set it off and get nothing as it is a Gatso. Going the other way, it owns you...............

It wont get you if you were driving to wards the camera that is set up to catch people going the other way. I must have done this 10 times without getting a ticket

a gatso needs road markings. this is how the speed is calculated. the two flashes are the camera taking two photos. your speed is calcutated but the distance travelled between the pics.

i go past gatsos all the time to set them off... dont worry about it, aslong as you wernt on the wrong side of the road then your fine as they cant get you for speeding as they do need the lines to caltulate the speed... or if you see sometimes in front of cameras they have new tyremac thats where they have put a form of electro magnet to sence how fast yur are going, thats the only time you cant get away with it
also if your worried go burn it down they are money traps anyways..... (not saying its a good thing to do of course!!!)
but in hynsight dont speed
