Ah right. Does it only work when the alarm is armed?

Also theres an LED on the hazard switch. Is it meant to flash? Mine doesn't

Does yours have the black sensor next to it? Mine has the sensor so i'd of imagined it has an alarm

Mine has the same as yours. the button switches off the ultrasonic sensor, for if you leave a dog in the car etc (the animal variety!) The alarm should automatically arm when you lock the doors

The led does not flash.

Does that mean the alarm isn't armed?

the little button is to disarm the ultra sonic sensor as mentioned, whenyou switch the igntion off then press the button the led will flash to show its disarmed, the alarm will arm when you deadlock the car by taking the key out in the horizontal position, a way of testing if the alarm works is open the window and deadlock the car, you now shouldnt be able to pull the button up,, or open the bonnet and make push the switch on the top of the strut turrent and get someone to lock the car after 30 seconds release the bitton and the alarm should sound, if the car doesnt deadlock or the alarm doesnt arm, the fault will probably be the switch inside the drivers door on the lock, the mech will probably be broken as its a common fault, you can get these from a scrap yard. Also when the alarm is armed the led will flash, or if its like mine the alarm all works fine but i cant get the bloody led to swich off there is a fault somewhere but i cant find where. lol

Cheers ryan. Thats cleared it up. Well mine doesnt light up at all. Il test the whole window open and dead lock going on.

So if the deadocks work, the alarm should too then?
