Any good? Honest opinions?

I dont want to hear "yeh, max power says they expand less"

I want opinions from people who have actually used them for track use

I have used them on a E30 track car.

Well worth doing if your upgrading the braking system. Wont see much difference on a old stock setup.

Fresh 5.1 track fluid is worth doing at the same time.

had them on old corsa (green), impreza and skyline...

Only really tested the skyline to exteme's before and after - well worth the money in my opinion.

Always had them, nice feel to the pedal, less fade etc much better than the boggo stuff

Depends on the quality of the original rubber hoses. Braided can actually expand more than some rubber hoses! They do offer greater abrasion resistance (although you shouldn't have contact on your hoses!) and they do look prettier. Worth doing if your original hoses are poor quality or old and in need of replacement anyway though.

Why do people keep going on about 5.1 fluid? Your not going to boil DOT 4 unless you have a full race spec touring car

I just change mine more often than 2 years

i use castrol response dot 4 i think. its castrol something anyway, ive used cheap fluid before and it was wank after a couple of laps of a track.

I use vauxhall DOT 4

seems pretty good to me, but only just changed it

You can get very high temp dot 4's now so all the 5.1 stuff is just talk.

If you are going to use it on track get a high boiling temp fluid and keep it fresh/bled

I fitted them due to my old flexis being knackered.
And noticed NO difference over the old flexi's.

Pointless on a road car if you ask me.

Got mine as an upgrade to compliment my 2.0 discs and pad's really to take away that "spongy" pedal feel
