On my 7 degree xe inlet manifold there is a water union that comes off the underside of the manifold, which runs through to the head (as per the standard manifold)
whats the best way of sealin this (ptfe tape ? ) as i noticed it had leaked before

use Hermatite Red on the new pipe.
it seals water unions better than anything, ir reacts on contact with water, stays semi flexible and cleans off easily once set. DONT try and wash it off your hands with water though!
