my psu just went bang, if i were to tell the insurance company that its gone bang, and everything is broke, will they replace or give me a payout? i dont want a shit pc

I didnt think you could claim on stuff like that, at least I dont know anyone that has, if your electronic goods go pop you replace them yourself surely. I thought contents ins only covered like theft & flood & possibly accidental damage - eg if you drop your beer down the back of the tely

u can only claim for accidental damage eg u dropped it kids kicked football at it ect not because it broke with normal use

i "spilt coffee" on my laptop and had it replaced, i paid for it and sent them a recipt, matched the spec of my old one, just got the local firendly pc guy to do a report saying it was full of coffee.... job done
