can some one please help!? i have 288mm vectra v6 front brakes on my l reg corsa gsi problem i have is that if just put my foot on the brake the brakes are crap but if i pump the pedal 3 times they are sexually good, also if i dont pump them it dont engage by bias valve for the rears. does this mean my server or master cylinder is not man enough if so can i put one off a v6 or astra gsi. thought they just needed bleeding but they have been pressure bled now and still no difference.

*if you have to pump it, you have air in there somewhere....

*the standard master isnt man enough for the piston size of v6 brakes..
..a mondeo one fits with some small alterations - like remote resevoire

*you take your car to a dodgy garage

*ive told you all of this once before.

There are loads of people who use V6 brakes on the standard corsa master cylinder without problems.

If they used to work before but not now then it may be a faulty master cylinder

But if they have just been fitted and hes having problems you need to check the obvious that people get wrong

1) correct caliper on the correct side, bleed nipples at the top

2) the spring caliper retaining clip on the correct way, get this wrong and it pushes the piston back in when your off the brakes, meaning you have to pump them to get them to work again
