first of all i'm sorry but how much do y'all think my car is worth/how much would you pay? i have a figure in mind, just wondering if people agreed.
R Reg 1.6 Sport Brocade Yellow
81,000 miles
Good Service History
3months Tax
5 months MOT
Bodywork is in average shape, paints comes up well but acouple of small scrapes and one deep one on the bootlid about an inch long (see picture)
Interior again is in fair condition, the usual wearing on the bolster etc.
other things to add:
replica gsi skirts
straight through magnex exhaust system
lowered on Gmax suspension
badgeless grille
all tyres in good condition
pads and shoes replaced in the last 4000 miles
service in the last few hundred miles
bad point is that the gear linkage bushes (?) are starting on their way out. 1/2 affected, other gears are fine.
as a side point of this, how much would we be looking for this to be fixed? i also assume it'd be better to get this sorted before the car is sold, can anyone confirm?
afew pictures of the car
picture of scratch on bootlid
any help is much appreciated

Sounds like the linkage needs adjusting Andy, worth a try anyway, it might fix it.
I'm out of touch with Corsa pricing now

i paid 1200 for a mint standard s reg reg with 60k. any of the mods wouldnt really affect the price. maybe lower it a bit. it depends if you can find someone thats likes what you have already done and plans to carry on

Considering people said £1.5k would be realistic for mine, it's anyone's guess Andy.
If you returned it back to semi-standard, I'm sure you'd get more private than on here

All the ones for as little as £1k have done more miles than yours.
At £1k it'd sell in about 4 days though, so there are advantages in pricing it that low
I'd say nearer £1500, and it'd still sell quickly.

Id advertise it at £1600 or near offer, its a clean tidy car. Obviously appears well looked after and is in better condition than others of the same age, therefore you can push more than book value. Check on parkers.co.uk

Semi standard? Are we talking about the same car, its all OEM parts aside from the grille and the lowering springs (im assuming they arent factory fitted irmscher ones?) A car like that can hardly be described as 'modified' I think its a really nice example, although im not really a fan of brocade yellow, it pulls it off quite nicely!

The gear linkage might be an easy repair. Happened on mine (x14xe) first of all it was hard to get into 5th, then 5th went all together, then reverse went, then 1st and 2nd went so i was left with 3rd and 4th. Mechanic mate of mine jacked it up and tighted the gear linkage or something? Didnt actually see what it was, and now its good as new, no probs.

Well it depends on the buyer, if they want to do the mods anyway, then they will be willing to pay a little extra to have the things they want included. I dont know why people are talking about this car like it is drastically modified, its got gsi skirts and its lowered!

The link below shows a book value for "good condition" as £1375, this corsa is better than good condition, therefore I think its acceptable to ask a bit more for it.
I just sold my corsa for probably 5 times its book value!

thanks for your support davey, you've made me feel better the plans are up in the air at the minute, i simply don't know what i'm doing at the moment. for the time being it looks like the corsa is staying.
besides, its my first car i don't think i could actually sell it, i think i love it
