Can you buy a cheap emission tester for home use? so i can check before MOT?

dam!

i know my car will be over on the emissions but i need to know how far! As i know a couple of people that will be a bit leanient for me but not stupidly! if its to much over they wont do it.

Any other ways of checkin rather than puttin it through an mot to fail?

Take it out for a drive before the test and make sure the engine is nice and hot, always helps the emissions a bit
