Im looking at re painting my rear drums and calipers.

Drums Black and Calipers possibly Black or Yellow.

Just wondered will normal hammerite be ok or do the do a special high heat version?

hammerite smooth finish is more than good enuf mate. had mine done for 2 years now with no problems

ive always used hammerite and its always bin ok 1 year since i painted mine and there still ok

cool. off to halfords tommorrow to get some then.

do you basically sand down, apply the paint then a laquer as i cant remember having any primer when i did my last set with a kit.

I just use Hammerite smooth mate. Comes up a treat!

hammerite goes straight onto metal, you dont need laquer either.
