They want £178.60 for a standard, yes standard, gearstick, knob and gaitor (as it all comes in one bit, I only want the gearstick) for post-97 B.

Considering as that's all Vauxhall are going to do with the ones this guy has just bought you have a fair point.

A cuple of my arches atm are originals cut down to size and sprayed but they are bonded on and I want to replace them with new ones so buying gsi ones is just easier.
I did plan on coming away with a recipt for 4 lol but seing as that was aproaching the £250 mark they will have to wait untill later.

I really want a Steinmetz gear knob - I just love the way they look.
Anyway, post-97 gear knobs have to be hacked off, but when I sell the car, I didn't want the Steiny one going with it. So I had the idea of buying a new gearstick, shoving the Steiny knob on, then just removing the stick in about 10 seconds. Bit the gearstick only comes with knob & gaitor, and that price.

did you try Auto Vaux? I got some Rear Jacking point covers & an 'L Piece' from a GSI Arch from them for less that half of what Vaux quoted me.
All OEM aswell, just without the Vauxhall price
