Right..

My home pc has decided it has to dial up an internet connection evertime you try open explorer, we do not have dial up, It just randomly appears. Not to sure how to fix it.

Open up IE, I think its Tools (in the top bar) and then Internet Options. Select the connections tab and then you'll probably see a tick next to an option called 'Always dial a connection' or something like that. Take the tick away, save and it should be fine.

BTW- That may not work...Im trying to remember it from my non-Mac days

Its on that, but trying to go onto a web page and it come up saying "webpage unavailable whilst offline" , I shouldnt be offline..I have broadband like I do on this.

File - click Work Offiline so its unticked

If its offline go to Tools (in internet explorer) and untick "Work Offline"

File in IE6 or Below

Tools in IE7
