need help,how do i clear the codes on gsi ecu ? engine light comes on when i floor it so i need to find out what it is,it gives me 8 codes when i check it but i think they are old codes as i had the battery off for 2 days and as soon as i connect it i check codes without even starting engine and i keep getting the same 8 codes.

you need tech 1 from vaux to clear codes iirc.
Are you sure that theyre old codes, what are the codes and what part(s) have you replaced?

I thought disconnecting the battery reset any codes that were stored?

disconnect battery for an hour or so, that should do it

Disconnecting the battery will not clear the codes. But after 20 starts of your car will. If the codes are a present code you cannot clear them. you will have to fix the faults first. It is very unlikely you will have 8 faults on your car together.

codes are 22-throttle potentiometer senser low voltage,34-manifold absolute pressure sensor low voltage,44-oxygen sensor air/fuel too weak,47-linear exhaust gas re-circulation position,61-fuel tank vent valve low voltage,63-direct ignition system cylinder 1 and 4 low voltage,64-direct ignition system cylinder 2 and 3 low voltage,84-immobiliser no signal,85-immobiliser wrong signal. help me please LOL

Most of those error codes are pointing to some kind of fuel Starvation. If its only occuring when you put your foot down.
