I used to love to hate Apple products for some reason. But I started to get involved with them in my old job, then I started to pay attention to thier adverts which I still think are a bit shite. But actually thier products are pretty damn good. I've been using a Macbook now and again and I think they are pretty damn good

Step backwards TBH I hardly ever use my CD Drive on my Mac so I wouldnt be bothered. Plus you can get a drive for it as an optional extra too.

thats just like buying a car with no wheels and saying its ok because u can go back at a later date to buy some as an extra! i use my cd drive all the time on my laptop for games, dvd's, music, changing the OS, easiest way to move large volumes of data, etc etc etc etc i really could go on
