cams about 9-15, flywheels just a bit lighter really, map could give you about 15-20 ish and a zorst system can give you about 15

id get a different inlet ie mantzel, dbilas or an ebay copy(and a x14/16 lower inlet) and get it mapped.youll see 25 to 30 bhp from that i would think. Then get an exhaust or some cams.if you go for cams i would fit them, then the inlet before you map it.

Was thinking that myself Dave

Plus, no point in doing much with the standard inlet still there, as it's shite! Change that for a Lexmaul/Mantzel/Dbilas/Stu22 jobbie and then get it mapped.

Nice little increase.

I went...

inlet manifold
exhaust manifold
system and de-cat

If i kept the car the next plan was cams and remap with lighter flywheel

what i find is when you remap a standard ecu it will cost maybe £400 and an aftermarket one maybe around £200 so it's probably best putting that extra £200 towards a better ecu then mapping, you will get better gains this way.

Ive got that with a remap + higher rev limit.

There is a definate difference in how it feels on the road Not had it rolling roaded yet so cant give you a figure.

set of cams in there too would finish it off

I've gone the Mantzel route, and it is a good gain, but very peaky.

If I tuned another 1.6, i'd go straight for the throttle bodies route.
