right theres a really annoying rattle on my M reg GSi and it seems to be coming from under the scuttle panel. it sounds as though its coming from either side so i was wondering if it could be anything to do with the bonnet hinges?
and also has anyone else experienced this?
i seem to recall my 1.2 did this but it was 3 years ago and i was young and couldnt be arsed to persue it

im having the same problem i think and i got 1.2 i couldnt find the rattle any where and it is really annoying

try pushing on the door cars when this noise happens. see what it does... mine rattles and when you push the door card it stops

need to remove scuttle pannel then mate and check wether a hose it tapping or something.... could be the springs in the wiper arms

Heh i had that it turned out to be the drip tray underneath the scuttle panel rattling against the top of the washer bottle! put your hand under the scuttlepanel for the drip tray and lift it up and wack some foam under it 
My sub always vibrated it.....
If it aint that i have no idea
