hay all im hopefully going to be getting myself a gsi soon..
soo what sort of speakers am i needing for a nice sound system?
im also going to be putting the same in my old gls as i have busted the nsf door speaker
i cant be spending millions on the sound system and i need somethig i can install myself..
main music i listen to is rock and metal (none of this new shit.. im talking propper stuff like motorhead)
want it to be loud and clear and i dont like BOOM BOOM base.
all help would be great thanks

ive got a full JBL system built on budget and put in with my own hands, havent personally heard anything else as good! JBL components cost around 60 iirc
JBL 4 channel amp around 100
wiring kit around 30
and a sub in a box can be picked up real cheap, should do you just fine!!
im running compos, 3 12" through 2 4channel amps off a alpine head unit , i can play anything from system of a down to britney spears and it sounds great!

at the mo i have got sony head unit.
so if someone can give me a list of things that will be great..
like price break down and where to get them. also how to install as i am new to the ICE side of things.

I would say New tweeters (not sure if the GSI has them) new door speakers and new rear speakers... then perhaps 6x9's and amp + sub!

motorhead and the 80's style metallica will always be top.

focal Access 165 CA1 very good sound and have built in crossover or some Hertz Energy ESK165
And stay away from 6x9 for a good sounding system all u need is a good set of front components and a sub.
Give Ste call he sort u out with what ever u want what ever amount u got to spend
