Im not sure as i learnt to drive in my corsa without PAS and found at higher speeds you could determine whats happening with the front wheels compared to my sport

i'd like to have that, I hate having PAS on the motorway at speed - can never keep it in a straight line easy lol. but with parking its a god send!

Definately with on my C.
Think mine is slightly more weighted at speed too which is great. Almost drives itself on the motorway

My first car didn't have it (citroen AX). Moving up from that to a corsa with it made the world of difference, so I'd deffintely rather have PAS. I drive an Astra MK4 now and I wouldn't want to imagine that without PAS!

Speed sensitive EPS is standard on Corsa C's I believe... At least I know it is over here.
Had two C's with EPS and a B without. Much prefer the C tbh.
However my old 205 without PS was a lot of fun to drive and never had problems parking it... guess it depends a great deal on the car.

Would it be possible to rip out/disconnect the PS on a '97 1.4 16v sport?

why is it dangerous in a slide?

I hate it on my Corsa, it's got EPS, it was fine at first then decided to take the fuse out to see the difference, didn't seem much difference but it was slightly better.
After a few months I put the fuse back in why someone else used my car, then forgot about it, started driving and it was horrible, it felt as though the steering wheel wasn't attached to anything, fuse was promptly removed and has been in my ashtray since.
Think I might live with it when I get a 7 series tho 235 tyres and a 2 ton car

at high speeds not having power steering is good but for parking it is!.

I like it. I don't like driving a 2.0 Corsa with 18" wheels and no PAS.
