Ah yes, I know the place. Went there myself for a while when I worked for Audi

Doncaster is a good night out, if you get a chance to go out Tuesday are quite busy as it's student night

test drive it, roll down a hill engine doing the breaking then foot back on the accelerator and look out the back for blue smoke.

Yeh as above really piston rings let go and can smoke abiy. Thats the only thing that went wrong on mine but it wasnt bad at all.

Watch out for smoke, tapping from the top end & headgasket tend to go. EGR valves can be an issue too, and the bottom pullie tends to wear and the timing will miss a tooth or ten.

None of this is relevant now They "forgot to mention" the fact that the cam belt has snapped

Explains why it was so cheap though
