I am waiting for some tidy weather to do a bigger brake conversion on my 1.4 16v sport, and I was wondering how you jack the whole of the front of your car up in one go? nothing in the trusty haynes manual.
I have a 2 tonne trolley jack and matching axle stands.
Sorry if this is an obvious answer, I havent got a clue though.

jack one side up and put axle stand on, then jack other side up and put axle stand on there

Didnt think that would work, thought you would have to do it all in one go.

As above although i got two trolley jacks and got a mate to jack up the other side at the same time as mine that way put both axle stands under at once, i blocked the rear wheels so when lifting the whole front up at once there was no risk of it slipping backwards
