I have 800MB worth of photos on my Sony Memory Stick - thing is, when I plug the camera in to any computer the files dont show up on the desktop - even though I can browse through them on the camera. I know they are there but why cant I get them, any ideas?

Can you take out the stick and use a card reader?.

I had to resort to buying recovery software - it was a lost cause but I got em now - I had a virus called Ravmonlog.

Buy ot 'Buy', shouldn't have needed to do that?. You cleaned the virus?, with?. You got AVG on your computer or any decent anti virus programs?

I didnt clean the virus - deleted it. Do a Wikepedia on ravmonlog.

Now i'm going to Format my card.
