there isnt any temp on the new shape vauxhalls iirc, astra mk5, zafira mk3, meriva mk1, signum all dont, not sure about vetra and corsa d

No there is no gauge but a bulb on the dash which lights up if the car overheats. That is what I read if I remember well.

That is beyond shit.

They might aswell just go ahead and delete the oil light alsol and just have a big... 'YOUR ENGINE IS FUCKED, GO AND BUY ANOTHER CAR NOW' light

Yeah new Astra's, new Corsa's, new Zafira's. None have water temp gauges, shit idea.

That site is on about running new engines though, is it the same for running older rebuilt engines in?

Fiats monitor the rpm levels and this can be brought up on a computer at the garage to see if the customer has been thrashing there motor prior to it breaking down. One way of getting out of it! I suppose vaux's dont have this tho......
