Will a full kit be a gentler ride than just on standard shocks?

well if u get some decent shocks it will, have top adjustable konis and the ride is loads better than just lowered on standard shocks

I was thinking of getting a full kit coz i had a 40mm drop on standard shocks and it was almost unbearable. Is it really noticeably better or just slightly
