Student of Music Tech here at Hudds Uni, would say im more of an engineer than a producer/composer. Use protools mainly, but due to my placement year been working a lot with cubase/nuendo and Live.
Also do a lot of work with MaxMSP and music composition for film (like SO) as part of my course

I am a music producer. currently in university studying none other than music production.
haven't experimented too much within dance music though. mainly rnb/pop kind of stuff. check out myspace.com/eddholloway for a couple of examples although that hasn't been updated too recently.
theres a video for a song i produced coming out in the next few days on Channel U, TMF etc..

i've made quite a few put them on mini disk and lost the badgering thing, and haven't made many since really
