hi, just passed me driving test about 3 weeks ago and now i have fixed the engine on me corsa i was wondering if anyone new any cheap insurance places for a 20yr with no ncb

have you tried confused.com mate? just punch in all your details and they search loads of companys and come up with the cheapest price. anybody else tried this out?

Yep. They came back with quinn direct.

They were the cheapest for me - im 17 btw and in northern ireland which is still seen as fairly high risk.

AA quoted me just under £8000 for the same car - laughable..

Iv been getting quotes on ALOT of cars recently as im going to be buying another car soon, had my licence revoked so i have to retake my test again anyway, i got a quote on a 2.0 corsa, 22 years old, 0ncb(saying i passed my test one month ago to get idea on prices) i live in a low crime area though, lowest i got was qwik fit at about 770.I just use moneysupermarket.com.

Although it might not of been moneysupermarket that i got the quote for the 2.0 corsa, i got quoted 1277 on an impreza on there, which isnt bad at all.

Where did you get quoted on a 2.0 corsa, always wanted to get quote for one but never wanted to phone up to find out.

one from confused.com and one from comparethemarket.com, you can declare the new engine somewhere also, i never carried on with the claim that time i just got to that point to show you, unless its a different site im thinking about, been on that many its hard to remember.I definatley got a quote from somewhere for a 2.0 corsa, il check my e-mails to see if the best quote for it has been mailed to me.
