I have been away with work for a week and got home to see my lexmaul inlet. Cant wait to fit it but my car is off the road till tuesday due to MOT running out yesterday.

Any tips for fitting?

fit it over easter...then watch the mot tester not be able to hold the revs lol..

just the rubber intake pipe clip is an absolute badger!!!.

I wont bother putting it on untill after MOT just to be safe on the emissions!

the x14xe and x16xe dont have an afm they use a map sensor, not sure a lexmaul even bolts up to a c16xe lower inlet but it wouldnt effect the afm anyway.

ah sorry, was thinking a lexmaul was on the same design as the other performance inlets. What about if i was to fit one of those inlets from ebay, that style?

I dont think they do fit the c16 because the throttle body and inlet ports are all bigger than on the x14/x16.

i think you need an x16xe lower inlet manifold and then they will fit.

so you would have to fit am x16/14 lower inlet with the lemaul. As for the ebay ones there is nothing massively complicated involved when it comes to the positioning of the AFM there is lad off here that sells them will all the bits and bobs you need for ALOT less than peoplw were paying mantzel for 4-5 years ago

im not entirely sure but I remember reading a post that said about the lower inlet of the x16xe.
