Quick question...
I have a Sony CDX-MP70 HU, it has a few pre-outs, and one Sub out, i think...
do i need to wire the amp to the sub out or a pre-out ? I'm guessing pre-out, yea ?

oooo, also, when wiring the power to it, do i want the fuse in the power cable close to the amp or the battery ?

I wired my amp to the sub out as its the most powerful, thats before i got and EQ that is!!!!!! Dont know if it aplies to you though!!!
The fuse needs to be close to the battery that i know for sure!!!
